Road to Calvary: The chestnut colt made his debut start on October 14th at Zia Park in the Governor's Cup Stakes. The colt led from the start of the 6-furlong race and shook off the challenges to win by 4 lengths. On the 24th, he was shipped home and is now happily enjoying the winter break with the others.
Awesome Attack: The tall stallion has continued to work hard and race well. On September 13th he ran in the PTHA President's Cup Stakes at Parx, which he won easily by a length. On October 11th he ran in the First Responder Stakes at Parx again and came in third. This was his last race and he is coming home next week for the winter.
Beloved Marius: The bay colt ran in the Kent Stakes at Delaware Park on September 20th. He ran well, but tired late and came in 4th. After the race he moved to Indiana Grand and ran in the Grade 2 Indiana Derby, where he regained all of his normal greatness and won by 2 lengths.
Better Not Cry: The feisty bay mare raced in 2 allowance races in September, both at Parx racetrack. She won easily by 3 lengths on September 13th and won again on September 28th by half a length. She is coming home next week with Awesome Attack
Cosette: The bay filly has not raced since the Albany Stakes on August 24th. She is currently at Zia Park and training for her next start on November 3rd in the Veteran's Stakes.
Curlin Man O' War: The multiple-crown-winning stallion has been overseas this year sweeping as many titles as he can. Since his last update.... he raced in the Memsie Stakes at Melbourne on August 30th and won, in the Dato Tan Chin Nam at Melbourne on September 6th, again winning, the Makybe Diva Stakes at Melbourne on September 14th, winning for the third time, and then travelling to Japan for the Sprinters Stakes at Niigata on October 5th, where he again won. He came to Europe to race at Longchamp in France and won the Prix de la Foret and arrived back in the States this week for the Breeders Cup Championships where he will be running in the Turf Sprint!
Dawn Strike: The little bay stallion raced last on October 12th at Zia Park in an allowance optional claiming race, which he won. He is still at Zia Park and will race on November 11th next.
Fancy Hat: The chestnut mare ran in the Lady's Secret Stakes at Monmouth on September 1st. She held on strong to win by a nose. From there she moved to Indiana Grand with Beloved Marius and ran in the Michael G. Schaefer Memorial Mile on October 4th where she came in second. Since then she has run in an allowance optional claiming race at Indiana Grand on October 17th, which she won easily.
Fightingforfreedom: The bay stallion ran at Zia Park in the Premiere Cup Handicap on September 7th. He had a bad race and came in 4th out of 5 horses. After moving to Remington Park and changing his training schedule, he ran in the Remington Park Sprint Cup on September 28th and won by half a length. He came home on October 1st and will enjoy his winter break.
I'll Have Another: The champion stallion has run twice since his last update. At PARX on September 1st he had his most difficult time in the one and a half mile Greenwood Cup, but came in a very well-deserved 2nd for his effort. He moved to Belmont and ran in the Jockey Club Gold Cup Invitational on September 27th and won by 2 lengths. He moved to Santa Anita in early October and will run in the Breeder's Cup Classic this weekend!
My Precious Treasure: The impressive 2-year-old chestnut filly has done extremely well for herself this year by sweeping the track across Europe. She raced in the Solario Stakes on August 30th, the Prix la Rochette on September 7th, the Cheveley Park Stakes on September 27th, the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère on October 5th, and the Racing Post Trophy on October 25th. She is coming back to the states next week and will likely have an allowance start here before the Godolphin Championships in December.
Nogales: This three-year-old has had a good fall break and came back to Santa Anita for training at the end of September. He is entered in the Breeders' Cup Mile for his last race of the year.
Tiz Gianni: The experienced stallion ran on August 30th at Saratoga in the Bernard Baruch Handicap (Grade 2) in which he came in second place. he moved to Woodbine, where he has remained. He ran in and won the Northern Dancer Turf (G1) on September 14th and the Pattison Canadian International (G1) on October 19th, and will run for the last time this year in the Kennedy Road Stakes on November 23rd.
Victoria's Vision: The bay 4-year-old mare ran in an allowance race on October 18th and placed second. She is aimed for the Fabulous Strike Handicap in late November.
